인지종교학 참고자료

2008년 6월 21일(토) 오후에 프란티스코 교육관에서 있었던
‘종교학과 인지과학의 만남’ 심포지엄에서 여러 좋은 글들이 발표되었습니다.
해외에서는 한국의 일반인들이 생각하는 그러한 전통적인 종교학이 무너지고
인지과학이 종교학과 과학을 연결하는 핵심 가교 역할을 활발히 하고 있으며
인문학과 인지과학의 연결의 또다른 장을 열과 있는 것 같습니다
인지과학의 대두에 의해, 철학, 언어학,종교학이 경험과학으로서 변모하여 가고 있는 것이
해외 학계의 대세인 것 같습니다
그러나 철학, 언어학, 종교학 등의 고유 영역과 전통을 유지하려는 반발이 만만치 않으리라 봅니다.
종교는 인간의 종교적 표상(개념, 신념, 일반사고), 행동, 제도, 사회적 측면 등을 다루는 것 같습니다. 종교가 인지과학에 의하여 자연-사회과학의 수준으로 끌려내려와진 이후에도 남는 진수가 따로 있는지에 대한 논의가 계속되겠지만, 종교학을 한다면 인지과학과 연결된 경험적, 과학적 접근을 피해갈 수 없는 것이 대세라는 저의 인상입니다.
심포지엄 발표 자료중의 일부를 참고하여 ‘인지종교학’ 에 대한
초보적인 참고된 자료를 정리하여 봅니다.
