[로봇 (로보틱스) 전공 학생들은 무엇을 더 공부하여야 하나?]

?<1>.세계의 전기-전자공학자들의 가장 크고 대표적인 학회인 IEEE의로봇 관련 중요 학회 중의 하나가
RO-MAN (IEEE International Workshop on Robot and Human Interactive Communication) 이다.
이 학회가 최근에 다루었던 주제들을 보면, 로보틱스 연구에서, 심리학, 인지과학과의 연결이 필수적임이 드러난다.이 학회의 2005년 프로그램의 다음의 내용들을 일부만 보더라도, 인지심리학, 인지사회심리학, 발달심리학, 인간요인심리학 등의 주제가 미래 로봇 연구에서 필수적임을 알 수 있다.

Developmental Robotics is a new approach in artificial intelligence and robotics that focuses on the autonomous self-organization of general-purpose, task nonspecific control systems. 발달심리와 발달신경과학에서 아이디어를 가져와서 It takes its inspiration from developmental psychology and developmental neuroscience. 발달로보틱스는 이전의 로보틱스 처럼 사전에 정의된 특정 과제를 해결하도록 고안된 그런 과제중심적 로보틱스가 아니나. In this manner, these systems are designed to rely more on mechanisms such as self-motivation, homeostasis, or "emotions."
